Who we are and why we're campaigning.
Stop Forest City is an independent information hub and campaign opposing the proposed Forest City development—Britain's first new city in 50 years, on farmland east of Cambridge.
Our purpose
We provide scrutiny of the proposal, factual information drawn from public sources, and a platform for residents and supporters to stay informed and take action. We aim to make arguments accessible and prominent so the public can judge the development on its merits.
Independence
We are not affiliated with any political party. We are a local campaign formed by residents and community members who believe the proposal poses serious risks to farmland, infrastructure, villages, and democratic planning. We focus on evidence-based opposition.
